C2 post-season recap

The C2 Spiders earned their first-ever playoff invite this season, with a first-seed placement in Pool C with their second-place finish in C2 East. They skated their way to a 2–1 record in the round-robin, featuring a decisive 6–2 win over the Diablos, which got them to the Pool Championship Saturday night. However, after solving the Zephyrs earlier in the day, got edged 3–2 by the Zephyrs in the semi-final.
Even with the Pool C Championship win, the Zephyrs got the cold shoulder check for the final, which went to the respective pool champions in A and B (Jets and Bulls), as the three pools’ combined point leaders were the C2 tier championship criteria. The Sunday grudge match went to the Bulls by a 2–1 margin.
