Hockey starts tomorrow!

The 2007–08 season is upon us, and the D1 Spiders debut Saturday, taking the ice against the Fighting Piranhas.

It’s your first opportunity to see the new Spiders in action, with new players and new goalkeeper as well as new team captains: Bob Jensen (C), Marc Berris (A) and Brad Caron (A). But don’t worry, it’s sure to be the same old Spiders on the ice.

First up, the Fighting Piranhas, with whom the Spiders went 1–1 last year, winning 8–6 in the first matchup, and losing 4-3 in the second game.
