Spiders make midseason trade

The Spiders are pleased to announce the return of Derek Elling to the Red and White.

As announced earlier, Derek had taken the season off for military duty, but due to rescheduling, advised the team through his agent (dad) that he was available to rejoin the team for the season.

Derek will take Cory Vandenberghe’s sub spot on the roster, as Cory had yet to get into a game this season and therefore eligible for removal from the roster, and more than willing to enable Derek to get back on the ice.

So many thanks to Cory for his flexibility. Cory remains on the B3 Spiders squad.
