Spiders lose to Warriors 7–2 in JMS Tourney
Oct. 14, 2006
A scary moment in the second period, when Spider friend John Peterson was tripped and broke his collarbone. Our best wishes to him on a speedy recovery.
He didn’t miss much, as the Spiders gave up some quick goals the rest of the second period, and ended up losing 7 to 2.
Game highlights included a beautiful home run from the blue line from defenseman Carlos Eberhardt, on assist off the faceoff from Dave Schliesman.
The Spiders will compete again Sunday night for third place in the tournament against the Huskies (also 1–1 in the tournament). The puck drops at 8:45 p.m. on Rink 3 (the Olympic sheet) at BIG. The Spiders again will be dressed in their white sweaters.
