The puck drops on the Spiders’ 11th AHA season Sunday night. It’s your first chance to see the 2014–15 C3 Spiders in action.

While the rest of the AHA hits the ice Saturday night, the AHA has wisely scheduled the Spiders’ 2014–15 opener on Sunday to allow for the pent-up demand for additional PSAs for the Spiders’ 11th season to be gobbled up.

The Spiders open against a new-to-C3 team, the Mill City Marauders, which went 14–3–1–2 last year in D1, making it all the way to the D1 championship, only to be outdone 4–3 by the Fighting Loons dynasty.

This season, the Spiders will seek to at least match their 12–7–1–0 record of 2013–14, though not make a repeat of their franchise-worst 0–3 playoff drubbing.

Head to South St. Paul Sunday night, puck drops at Wakota at 7:10 p.m.
