Spiders take the ice against Chaos at Eden Prairie in Game 1 of round robin.

The D1 Pool B #4 seed Spiders (10–8–2; 22 pts.) get their chance again vs. the #1 seed Chaos (17–2–1; 35 pts.).

Both games in the regular season between the two teams went to the Chaos, with the most recent meeting also taking place at Eden Prairie, where the refs found their whistles early and often.

The Chaos, as with the Spiders, are accustomed to the post-season, going 4–0 last year to take home the D2 title.
