Nighthawks fly away with 2009 AHA Fall Tourney trophy

The D1 Spiders were inconspicuously absent from the AHA’s Fall Tourney, which took place this weekend at BIG. And it looks like they missed out on a tight series, marked by low scoring margins and inevitable ties. In the end, the Nighthawks took one away from the undefeated Yellow Jackets to take home the trophy. Could the Nighthawks be the team to beat at D1 in the upcoming winter season?
