Vandenberghe sports new fashion accessory, out for season
Sept. 3, 2009
Star winger Cory Vandenberghe, in allegedly violating the non-compete clause of his Spiders multi-year contract, suffered a season-ending (before it even started) tear to his ACL. He had reconstructive surgery last week and is estimated to return to the ice in spring.
Vandenberghe was already seen circulating at AHA events, such as last night’s D2/D1/C2 evaluation, demonstrating exactly where he’ll be watching Spider games this winter.
The remainder of the Spiders roster changes for the upcoming 2009–10 season will be announced shortly.
