ESPN Reports, Spiders Dow placed on DL

ESPN’s Ed Stouffer is reporting that Spiders standout goalie, Brian Dow, has undergone surgery and will be placed on the disabled list. Currently the injury is being disclosed as a “lower-body injury.” Fans are speculating that Dow could be out for weeks or even months. “The Spiders goalie has been a big part of the team’s success,” Assistant Captain Jim Maietta said. Tim Stalpes (one half of the Spiders Wall) was asked if he could provide additional detail on the injury, simply said, “All I worry about is what Chris is doing. He is my main Man, man.” Calls placed into Spiders Media Relations were not returned.
