It was a gutsy effort by the nine Spiders to take the ice but it wasn’t enough against the division-leading Northern Horde.
The Spider had the score tied at 3-3 in the second period before tired legs eventually succumbed to the Horde 6-3. Justin Geijer had a busy night in goal as he saw 48 shots.
