The Spiders scored early and often on the way to a comfortable 8-3 win over the Mutiny. The win was the second straight for the Spiders after a dismal 0-6-1 strecth.
Eight Spiders had multi-point nights with Matt Adelmann leading the way with a pair of goals and Ryan Wilson setting a new standard with four assists. Brent Murray, Aaron Bedessem, Shawn Tromiczak, and Cody Buckalew all had three-point nights while Josh Cagle and Justin Stone each had two points.
Sub goalie Justin Geijer was strong in net with 28 saves and had a shutout through 2 ½ periods before a couple lucky bounces and defensive letdowns.
The win moves the Spiders to 5-7-1 on the season.
