Captain's meeting report - playoffs March 25-30

The annual mid-season captain's meeting was held on Wednesday with the Spiders represented by assistan captain Josh Cagle.

Playoff info:

• Playoffs are early this year, runnign from Tuesday, March 25th to Sunday, March 30th. The Spiders regular season finale is on Tuesday, March 24th. Currently on the fringe of the playoffs, the Spiders may not have much notice of if/when playoff games will be. Plan your calendars accordingly.
• Games may start as early as 2pm on Friday, March 28th.
• As expected, the top 4 teams from each B3 division advance to the playoffs with two pools of four teams. The pool winners advance to the championship game.
• The championship game shave been moved from Sunday morning to Sunday evening. The hope is to have thr Summit beer stand open on Sunday with the later start allowing a more "festive" atmosphere.

The AHA has started televising games. Some are streamed live while others are recorded and later posted on the website. The Spiders are not currently scheduled for broadcast but they're hoping to get most of the teams this season.
