Playoff pools and schedule released

The captains meeting was today and there are two items of interest. First, the playoffs will be spread out over two weekends. Playoff games will start Saturday, April 2nd and finish on Sunday, April 10th. The schedule might be something like pool play games on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday night. This is different than the last couple years where we would play Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. Semi-finals and the championship will still be Saturday evening and Sunday. This is significant because now we need to make sure we have enough people for two separate weekends rather than one.

The second important item is that every player needs to play 5 games in the regular season to be eligible for the playoffs.

Playoff pools were also released:

• Pool A: East #1, North #2, West #3, East #4
• Pool B: North #1, West #2, East #3, North #4
• Pool C: West #1, East #2, North #3, West #4
