Spiders to make debut at luxurious West Side Arena

Your C2 Spiders will kick off the 2009-2010 season on Sunday, October 25 at majestic West Side Arena in one of St. Paul’s most regal neighborhoods. Little is know about the Spiders’ opponent, the Dragons, as they were in the other division last season. Highlights of the game will likely include players shoe-horning themselves into the inadequate cubicle-like “locker rooms” and sub-freezing indoor temperatures. The puck drops at 3:10 p.m. and the first 500 fans will be admitted free.

The Spiders second game of the season will be on Sunday, November 1, against a well-known opponent in the Warriors. Game time is 7:45 p.m. at Breck. The Spiders split a pair of 2-1 games with the Warriors last season and the Warriors are rumored to have made some high profile additions in the off season.
