Spiders win 4 games in a row and move into second place in the AHA.
In a hard-fought battle, the Spiders put the Eagles back on the endangered list, as they win 4-2.
Scoring started with the Eagles scoring early in the first. The Spiders countered that with a goal from Dave Schliesman on a pass from playmaker Doug Thorson.
The Eagles quickly followed with a goal and the Spiders found themselves down 2-1 and being outshot in the first period.
The Spiders took control of the second period with 2 goals from Brad Butalla and a power play goal from Shawn Tromiczak. In addition, Butalla managed to spend some time getting to know the scorekeeper as he spent 10 minutes for checking from behind and a misconduct.
The Spiders continue to see strong goaltending from Brian Dow as he is now 2nd in the league in wins and goals against.
