PLAYOFFS!!! Spiders clinch playoff spot!

Though the Spiders have been leading the C1 East division for months, they hadn’t locked up a playoff berth until Friday night. While the Spiders players were presumably kicking off St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the Beavers and Rack Attack skated to a 4-4 tie at Richfield.
This result locks the Spiders into a playoff position, although the division is so tight that with three games remaining, the Spiders could still finish anywhere from first to fourth.
The AHA released playoff info and schedule this week so the Spiders can get some idea of when and where they may be playing.
Pool assignments are as follows:

The only major change from previous playoff format is that there are no semi-final games. The winner of each pool advances to the championship game on Sunday.
